Fanclub – Ki/oon records 3rd Album (LP/promotion/overseas releases)

Hello, today I want to show you the 3rd album of Asian Kung-Fu Generation called Fanclub. This album has been released the 15/03/2006 under the reference KSCL-945.
I own 2 First press of the album and they are both different.
When you see the Matrix Number, the number you have at the middle of the CD’s back, It is written XXXXX-XXX 1 on the first one and on the second one XXXXX-XXX 2.

That is to say, Sony have released Fanclub and maybe released 10.000 First press copies of it, and then because this album sold very well, they decided to release 10.000 more copies of it, with a different matrix number. It is like they were releasing a 1000 copies limited edition , sold everything and release again 1000 copies. Money money money…

Inside a sticker can be found. No English lyrics for the moment.

From top to bottom, left to right: Fanclub Korean edition. Same as the Japanese version.
European edition, OKCD-001, the first release of the label Okami Records.
And something really rare that can be found on Ebay, it is the promo CD of the European edition! Note that the European press has 2 bonus tracks, songs that were released after in Feedback Files album compilation.

And the common promotion CD along with the Radio CD of Fanclub. This one is really rare.

Last but not the least, Fanclub LP, which is very rare to found now.

World Apart – Ki/oon records 8th Single (and promotion)

Hi again, this time same thing as Blue Train, but we are talking about World Apart Single, released the 15/02/2006.

Ki/oon did the same thing for World Apart. A different CD cover plus a sticker for the First Press. And they said their had no differences between them but just a sticker. hahaha.

This time, no Radio Edit. I like the Radio Edit, maybe the songs are better that way, less longer than the original song. I’ve never seen twice the Radio CD of World Apart.

Sol-fa – Ki/oon records 2nd Album (LP/Promotion) and a cat! Part1

Hello again everyone,

Sol-fa is the second album of Asian Kung-Fu Generation. A lot of you are from this 2004 generation since the song Rewrite can be found inside.It was released under the same reference, that is to say KSCL-737, but has a lot of different versions.
We will talk about the Japanese versions first.

Inside the First Press, a sticker can be found, but not a cover sticker, here you have logos, band name, etc. 10 stickers. The first press is now out of print since 2004,  this masterpiece is now very rare to find.

The promotion is the same as the First Press. As for the Radio CD, the cover is completely different from the original cover. It looks great for a Radio CD!

The rarest Sol-fa Japanese version that can only be found for approximatively 300-400€ on Yahoo AArrrrgh! God Damnit! Please get away from the table you bloody cat, you’ll get some hugs later. I promise.

Anyway I was saying that you can only find such a thing on Yahoo Auction Japan only. Or from me, because I have a second copy of it and if you are interested in, you have the pictures in front of you. Kimi no Machi Made – Ki/oon records 6th Single (and promotion)

Good day everybody.
Kimi ni Machi Made is the only single that I don’t really know what is its first press.
The single was released under two references (the second one is a reissue) which are KSCL-733 and KSCL-927.

Inside it is the same as a regular press single, but here you have a little card coming from the HMV.jp shops. Ho the light in the booklet looks like a heart. Nothing interesting here sorry.

The promotion is the same as above, no stickers inside or anything related to a first press. And the paper looks just like common singles.

No cover for the Radio CD, but this one was seen many times on Yahoo Auction Japan.

In the next hours, we will deal with Sol-fa 2nd album and there are so many things to say that it will requires me 2 posts.

Loop&Loop – Ki/oon records 4th Single (and promotion)

Hi everyone, it has been a long time since I didn’t post anything.

Loop&Loop is the second single of the Sol-fa generation, you will find inside the song loop&loop and 2 live songs. The first press was released under the reference KSCL-687, then, its reissue KSCL-919.

Siren‘s first press was about that the whole CD paper was in Japanese paper. Here the Loop&Loop ‘s first press is entirely made of coated paper:

To find this first press, you can’t really notice it with a picture, you have to touch it before buy it. When you live at the opposite of Japan, it sounds difficult.

The radio CD was very hard to find. It has been 6 years now that I am looking for the complete discography of Ajikan and I’ve seen this CD only once!

Siren – Ki/oon records 3rd Single (and promotion)

Hello everyone,

Today we are going to see a set of CDs single that composed the 2nd album Sol-fa.
The first that have been released is Siren. Siren was released twice. You have one with the reference KSCL 675, and the other one with the reference KSCL 917. So why do I have three CDs here? At the bottom of the picture, there are on the left Siren KSCL 675 and on the right Siren KSCL 917. Except the obi, they are perfectly the same. The one we will looking at this time is the First Press.

The four singles first press are different from the previous singles first press (such as Mirai no Kakera, Kimi to Iu Hana) you won’t find any sticker, but something more interesting. The entire CD is in Japanese paper.

See the difference? It is the same for the following singles, Loop&Loop, Rewrite, and Kimi to Iu hana. But the Japanese paper is exclusive to Siren.

The promotion CDs are the same as you could see from the previous CDs.

Fully in Japanese paper, that is a fucking good idea!

Ha! This one is interesting because you can find the Radio Edit of the song Siren. Shorter than the original one, it is better that way in my opinion, the song is better than the uncut one.

Mirai no Kakera – Promotion and Radio CDs

As usual, the picture of the mirai no kakera promotion CD gave to the journalists.

But the most interesting thing here is the Radio CD.

Indeed, even if the tracks are the same, the booklet is different.

Nice photo of the band isn’t it? Behind, this is what you can see:

You have the lyrics of the songs, but at the right you have a long long text, I really don’t know what it is about, so if anyone wants to translate it it would be great!

Kimi Tsunagi Five M – Promotion & Audio Tape

Hello everyone, today we will see the promotion around the album KT5M.

The promotion CD of Kimi Tsunagi Five M has something different from the official release.

It has another big sticker, with a beautiful picture of the band on it.

As for the Radio CD, thonly the cover change, there are no extra tracks or stickers. (This silver cover looks great right?)

But the most strange object I get is an audio tape.

If my memory is good, the sound of it is better than the original CD, or the same I really don’t remember but the thing is the quality isn’t inferior compared to the official CD.

That is a rare item, I did not expect to get it, and the overall quality seems to not be a bootleg, this is the very first time I see something like this on internet, I’ve never seen twice this item that I get with some Radio CDs.

Kimi to Iu Hana – Promotion CDs

Let’s see the promotion CDs of Kimi to Iu Hana.

As usual, a yellow stamp and the words « SAMPLE-LOANED » around the center of the CD. Difficult to find this CD.

Even more difficult to find, the Radio CD. It has a different cover from the official release. That is all. Nothing more to tell you about this one.

Nice lizard logo right? This is my favourite logo from the band.

5 more CDs in the discography collection. 10 if we count the CDs of Houkai Amplifier.
